Memoir Writing Ink PLUS
For writers seeking mentoring and editorial feedback on their writing.
The new Memoir Writing Ink PLUS option offers you the contents of the Memoir Writing Ink program + the opportunity to submit two pieces of writing to a carefully selected mentor/editor, who will provide written feedback and meet with you to discuss your writing.
This submission process and in-depth review will allow you to deeply understand the editorial feedback you receive, where and how your writing might be tightened or improved, and how to shape and transform your writing into the best work it can be.
HOW IT WORKS
You are invited to submit two short pieces of writing (suggested length: 500-1000 words) for a total of 2000 words. You may also choose to submit one 2000-word piece or resubmit the same 1000-piece twice (if you decide to incorporate some of the editorial suggestions and submit another draft of the same piece). There is no minimum word count. Your pieces can be whatever length you like, so long as they do not exceed the maximum word count of 2000 words.
You will receive an editorial summary, as well as marginal notes and suggestions, within one week of your submission(s).
You may also schedule two 30-minute Zoom meetings with your editor to discuss your pieces and gain clarity on the next best steps for your writing. {See video below.}
