THIS COULD
ALSO MAKE YOU
A BETTER WRITER*

Another(!) lively writing workshop with
bestselling author Alison Wearing

*This is the second workshop in this series.
The first workshop is available HERE.

WINNER OF THE 2023 GOVERNOR GENERAL'S LITERARY AWARD FOR NONFICTION

From the author of Birds Art Life, Kyo Maclear’s memoir Unearthing is an unforgettable story about a family secret revealed, the lessons learned in its aftermath, and the indelible power of love.

Similar to the last workshop I offered of this kind (featuring Maggie Smith’s You Could Make This Place Beautiful), I will walk you through exactly what I see and appreciate when I read this book and show you how a careful reading of it can make you a better writer.

This workshop isn’t only about celebrating and learning from this book.
It is also about learning to read as a writer and being able to learn from every book you read.

NOTE: You do not need to have read the book in advance, but obviously I encourage you to do so at some point!
